Brief History ~ Essential Oils

I’ve been doing quite a bit of research since giving into my desire to become the ‘all natural woman’. The things that I uncover from day to day are simply intriguing! So much so that I thought I’d share some of the information with you all!

Although this can be a very long submission, I will provide you with great detail in as brief a submission as possible. Please be sure to read carefully because you may find some of the information helpful in your either deciding to use all natural products, or information that will simply justify the reason why you already do.

While watching a few videos, I was reminded that essential oils date back as far as 3000-2500 B.C. There are over 300 references in the Bible that mention the use of oils for the purpose of healing, spiritual awareness and anointing!

Egyptians were using essential oils for medicinal benefits, beauty care and spiritual enhancement as well as all other

Oh, and before I go…using essential oils for aromatherapy is another ancient method of healing and caring for the body. This too is helpful in maintaining good health, naturally. If you don’t know what aromatherapy is, it is the use of essential oils from plants for healing via massaging into the skin or inhalation. Like the Egyptians, the Chinese, Indians, Greeks and Romans were known for using aromatherapy by putting the oils in their cosmetics, perfumes and drugs.

Today, aromatherapy is used by nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, and massage therapists. The purpose you ask? Aromatherapy is used to relieve pain, improve mood, promote a sense of  relaxation and assist in spiritual awareness.

So to conclude, we are excited to be a part of history; maybe not directly a part of history B.C. but a part no less. And, remember the motto ladies, “caring for and loving one’s self naturally….mind, body and soul!”

Free being me, naturally…..
